The principle of a current transformer winding machine involves first storing enamel wire in a storage slot before reversing it onto a toroidal core. By inputting the core’s inner diameter, outer diameter, and height into the machine’s parameters, the required wire length is automatically calculated. However, due to dimensional tolerances in the core and variations in lead lengths, insufficient or excessive wire storage may occur during actual winding. In such cases, adjust the wire quantity via the parameter settings to add or subtract stored wire as needed. Once properly adjusted, the stored wire will precisely match the requirements for one coil, significantly reducing enamel wire waste.
