New CT Toroidal Coil Insulation Taping Machine Commissioned
CNYIHU has successfully completed the commissioning of its new YB-300CL toroidal coil insulation taping machine for current transformers. The machine continuously wraps polyester film, high-temperature insulating tape, and crepe insulating paper around toroidal windings to provide insulation and fixation. It is designed as dedicated automation equipment for 10kV–35kV ring-type CTs, split-core transformers, and zero-sequence transformers. It can operate as a standalone taping unit or be integrated inline with a toroidal winding machine to form a combined winding and insulation taping system.
Compared with older storage-winding type taping machines, the new model mounts material rolls directly on the gear. This allows fast changeover between different material rolls and simpler, more convenient operation, reducing downtime and improving flexibility for multi-specification current transformer production.
