Weigh epoxy resin, curing agent, color paste, and active silica powder filler according to the formula requirements.
Feeding order: Add epoxy resin and curing agent first, then add color paste and active silica powder filler.
Pour the weighed epoxy resin, curing agent, color paste, and filler (cooled to 50–60°C) into the mixing tank respectively. (Special note: After pouring the color paste, add a small amount of epoxy resin or curing agent to the container used for weighing the color paste, stir to dilute, and then pour it all into the tank. Repeat several times to prevent color fluctuations caused by inconsistent actual addition of color paste.)
Control the tank temperature at 40°C–45°C. After stirring for 30 minutes (when the silica powder and resin are initially mixed), start the vacuum pump. Keep the vacuum level at -0.09 to -0.1 MPa, and maintain the vacuum time for more than 1 hour.
Under stirring and vacuum of -0.09 to -0.1 MPa, treat for about 40 minutes. Stop stirring and release the vacuum. Discharge about 1–2 kg of the mixture from the discharge port, and pour it back into the tank from the top to prevent mixing dead zones at the bottom of the tank that could cause inconsistent mixing ratio and color paste in the first product. Then restart vacuum and stirring for 20–40 minutes until there are no bubbles on the surface of the mixture.
When mixing is complete, stop stirring first, then stop the vacuum, and finally release the vacuum. Keep the mixing tank temperature at 40°C–45°C for standby use. Subsequently, push the mixing cart to the epoxy resin automatic pressure gelation (APG) machine, connect the material pipe, and begin injecting the mixed epoxy resin into the mold.
